Who is this app for?

Dumb Phone is purpose-built for people who want to reduce cognitive distractions that come with owning the modern day smartphone, by applying a minimalist styled user interface.

After adding the Dumb Phone widget and wallpaper to your Home Screen, and selecting your essential apps, Dumb Phone completely transforms your device into the helpful utility your iPhone was intended to be - not a doom scrolling machine.

It lets you quickly open your most important apps with just one hand, even with the biggest iPhone in-hand, since everything is in reach of your thumb.

You can also create multiple app launchers to show specific apps during the day, such as work related apps.

Why did I create this?

It began as a feature for my app focusedOS to further reduce distractions on iOS, and follow the popular dumb phone / minimalist phone movement.

I wanted to permanently reduce the amount of visual distractions when I pick up and use my phone, such as colorful app icons and wallpapers, since I would always naturally be drawn towards them.

After creating Dumb Phone and using it every day for over a month, my screen time has nosedived. I notice I’m only opening apps if I really need to use them, since I no longer see their icon and associate it with the dopamine rush I’d get when tapping it.

Every app is just text on a page. Sleek and minimal.

Pricing
