Open the Settings app 2. Select [Screen Time](https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iphbfa595995/ios) → App Limits 3. Tap Add Limit 4. Expand “Social", select Facebook, then Next 5. Set the maximum time before Facebook is blocked. One minute is the minimum allowed. 6. Tap Add in the corner to save this limit for Facebook. You can also block Facebook's Messenger app here too, by selecting it from the list. ### Block the Facebook Website Be sure to also block the Facebook website so you can't alternatively access it through a web browser while the Facebook app is blocked. Don't worry, you will still be able to access Facebook Messenger if this is important to you. 1. Open the Settings app 2. Select Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions 3. Enable Content & Privacy Restrictions 4. Tap "App Store, Media, Web & Games" → "Web Content" 6. Select "Limit Adult Websites" 7. Tap "Add Website" and enter "facebook.com" 9. The longest you can turn this on for is one full week, before it automatically turns off and you need to reconfigure it. To turn this on; 1. On the Manage your time screen, set the "Quiet mode" switch to ON 2. Select how long you want to set Quiet Mode on for, then tap Apply ### Schedule Quiet Mode You can also schedule Quiet Mode to automatically turn on at a specific time on specific days of the week, so you don't need to manually turn it on each time. To schedule Quiet Mode; 1. On the Manage your time screen, set the "Scheduled quiet mode switch" to ON 2. Select a Start time and End time 3. Choose which days you want the schedule to apply for ### Turn on Daily time reminder Facebook also lets you set a daily time reminder, which displays a blocking alert when you've surpassed the configured time limit. This only applies to the device you set it on. To set a daily time reminder; 1. On the Manage your time screen, set the "Daily time reminder" switch to ON 2. Set a reasonable time limit of 10 minutes (or pick your own), with a minimum of 5 minutes, then tap Set Reminder ## Adjust iOS Settings for Facebook Consider adjusting the following Facebook settings as you see fit. ### Turn off Notifications Turn off all of Facebook's unnecessary alerts to stop being distracted at random times throughout the day. 1.
